Hello! Thank you for looking at my site instead of internet tat.

Kat Brown

Writing
Alongside my day job as commercial projects editor at The Times, I've written for The Times T2, GamesMaster, The Spectator Arts blog, Empire and others. I'm 6 ft 1, so love talking about tall women, but also gaming, bars and mental health. Oh, and The Archers, which I am mildly obsessed with.

I am a film reviewer and feature writer for The Lady; write about tall fashion, geek stuff and food for Domestic Sluttery and review bars for The Sunday Times Style website. My first short story was published by Shortfire Press after I won the December 2011 London edition of Literary Death Match (read an extract here)

Events
In 2011 I spoke at PR Week's PR & The Media conference, Empire Big Screen, and Domestic Sluttery's Pen and Penmanship. This year, I have read from my ghastly teenage diaries at Ultraculture's Teenage Wasteland, and been a panellist at April's Low-Cost Digital Engagement Conference.

Radio & TV
From Christmas music to red hair, via doggie bags and Anna-Nicole Smith, I've been a very tall talking head on BBC1 Breakfast, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio London, and filmed for E4.
